White Suede, Melbourne based label, is dedicated to innovation and contradictions between their designs and styling. Modern Sculptural silhouettes define White Suede’s designs. Drawing inspiration from Architecture, Artwork and Photographic Imagery. White Suede Designer Jacqui Demkiw is dedicated to fine craftsmanship with majority of all the designs still being produced in Australia and in limited edition. Unique and one of a kind digital printed fabrications are contrasted with plain coloration's and fabrications. Jacqui’s design career began whilst living in London, UK. Her technical skills have been balanced between her studies at University, traveling and working Overseas, as well as learning her craft through many years of involvement in the Fashion Industry with a very hand on approach. Hours of time spent fitting her garments and researching new sewing techniques. White Suede’s design philosophy conceptualises contradictions between modern, sculptured designs and draping techniques to create their silhouettes. |
