Jam packed with all the styles available in our iconic London flagship store, Topshop.com enables you to stay ahead of the style set anytime you like. Here are the different departments you’ll find … COLLECTION Topshop is all about refusing to be pigeonholed. Each customer is an individual and relies on the brand to deliver everything from basics to cutting-edge trends. It’s the broad spectrum of ever-changing co lections that keep Topshop ahead of the style game. MAINLINE Topshop’s Mainline range is a one-stop shop for the seasonal wardrobe. Created by an in-house design team, the range of instant classics sits alongside the more specialist collections. PREMIUM Aiming to give the customer that little something extra, the Premium range uses premium fabrics and limited-edition designs. Absolute attention to detail is paid, right down to the linings and trims. Silk, chiffon and organza is used for dresses, blouses and skirts, whilst virgin wool and cashmere is used in coats – as well as angora, mohair and alpaca. BOUTIQUE Largely made up of cashmere blends and silk- based fabrics, the Boutique collection is designed to build into the customer’s wardrobe. Although fashion-forward, the neutral colour palette and attention to style rather than trend ensures that timeless garments cross seasons and last for years. As part of Topshop Boutique, we also collaborate with a host of up-and-coming design stars. From Christopher Kane to Jonathan Saunders and Louise Goldin, we have produced capsule collections with some of fashion’s brightest stars. UNIQUE Launched in 2001, Unique showcases Topshop’s very own design talents to an audience of fashion savvy tastemakers. Although hugely successful since the start, Unique’s reputation truly rocketed when the collection’s SS06 show made Topshop the first high street brand to appear on schedule at London Fashion Week. Today it continues to remain ahead of the game, doing the unexpected whilst retaining its accessibility COLLABORATIONS Developing some of history’s most successful fashion collaborations has cemented Topshop’s reputation as a brand that knows its market inside and out. Queen of textiles and long-time design partner to Ossie Clarke, Celia Birtwell’s vintage-print dresses and blouses caused a sensation in 2006, selling out in three minutes – and four further (including SS08) successful collections have followed. Kate Moss’ collection has been equally phenomenal, as pieces encapsulating the icon’s ever changing sense of style have frequently sold out and become a hit worldwide. Find out more with How To Topshop. Topshop has a number of charitable partnerships we work with on an ongoing basis. Most recently working with Traid, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, Starlight and Peta. Previous partnerships have included Women's Aid and Refuge, The Terrence Higgins Trust, Charity Water, NSPCC and Make a Wish. FASHION TARGETS BREAST CANCER Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) was established in 1990 by Ralph Lauren after his friend and fashion editor of the Washington Post, Nina Hyde, died of breast cancer. Launched in the UK in 1996 as part of a Breakthrough Breast Cancer initiative, FTBC now celebrates its 12th year. Topshop have been working with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer since 2005 producing an exclusive shopper bag every year which is then sold in store and online with 50% of the proceeds going to support the charity. PETA Topshop have a long-standing relationship with Peta and believe very firmly that breeding animals for their skins cannot be justified. Every year millions of beautiful animals are stolen from their habitats in an unimaginable way, to be turned into fashion 'accessories'. Since 2006 Topshop have worked with Peta, the largest animal rights organisation in the world, to help raise awareness of the cruel animal skin trade and continue with their stance of a no fur policy across all of its ranges. TRAID A new partnership for 2008, Topshop and TRAID launched 4 clothes recycling banks in the four flagship Topshop stores across the UK & Eire in July. TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) is a charity committed to protecting the environment and reducing world poverty through recycling and delivering educational programmes and campaigning within the UK. Funds raised by TRAID through the collection and sale of reclaimed clothing and shoes help to divert waste from landfill and fund sustainable development projects in some of the poorest regions of the world. To donate your unwanted clothing just pop in store and drop off! London Oxford Circus, Manchester Arndale, Glasgow Argyle & Dublin St Stephens Green. STARLIGHT In celebration of Starlight Children's Foundation's 21st birthday, Kate Moss designed a must-have limited edition t-shirt as party of her High Summer 2008 collection. Starlight Children's Foundation is the leading national charity in the UK granting wishes and providing hospital entertainment for seriously and terminally ill children. Kate and Topshop have set a target to raise £75,000 - to be donated in full to Starlight. This will enable Starlight to grant an additional wish for a sick or terminally ill child every week over the coming year. The Designer Fashion Fund was launched by British Fashion Council Chairman Harold Tillman in September 2008 as a legacy project for the British Fashion Council‚ 25th anniversary celebrations. We are delighted to be supporting The Fund alongside Burberry, Clothing at Tesco, Debenhams, Harrods, House of Fraser, HSBC Commercial Bank, Jaeger / Aquascutum, Marks & Spencer, Paul Smith, TONI & GUY, Vogue and Westfield Shopping Towns. The aim of The Fund is to assist talented British designers with the potential for commercial growth to start making the transition from a developing creative business to a global fashion brand. The Fund will provide one British based designer with £200,000 and high level mentoring support. Erdem Moralioglu is the winner of the inaugural BFC / Vogue Designer Fashion Fund 2010. Erdem was selected for this award based on the label's strong design signature and clear vision for the immediate development and growth of his business. The BFC will develop a bespoke mentoring programme tailored specifically to assist Erdem in achieving his business goals for the next twelve months with the aspiration that the network developed during this year will endure throughout his career as he makes the transition from a developing creative business into a global fashion brand. Eight designers were shortlisted by a panel of representatives of Fund sponsors. All of those shortlisted will have access to support from the mentoring panel.
